Relatable truth: The best upgrade is one you can evaluate instead of merely feel obligated to like. Somehow this becomes obvious during the between-session check, usually five minutes after everyone said the plan was perfectly under control.

Been there! Sometimes you need to actually test the upgrade before deciding if it was worth it.
