Relatable truth: A flexible route is part of the safety equipment. Somehow this becomes obvious during the long empty stretch, usually five minutes after everyone said the plan was perfectly under control.

2Plans can change pretty quickly once you’re out on the road. Staying flexible definitely makes the trip less stressful.
So many times in my travel era there are bad accidents and I need to go another way. I like the app Waze to choose my alternate routes!
