Expectation: everything is packed, settled, and working exactly as planned.

Reality: the weather change has other ideas. The vehicle is part of the outdoor system: it carries gear, protects backups, and must still be ready for the trip home.

A little patience, a quick check to confirm access rules and conditions before departure, and a willingness to laugh at the timing usually restore order. The story gets better once the problem is behind you.

Weather always has a way of changing the plan! Checking conditions and access rules before heading out can save a lot of hassle and make the trip home much easier.
