Expectation: everything is packed, settled, and working exactly as planned.

Reality: the range-check moment has other ideas. Good electric-driving routines reduce uncertainty by combining charging knowledge, route planning, and vehicle-specific guidance.

A little patience, a quick check to verify the vehicle-specific procedure in the manual, and a willingness to laugh at the timing usually restore order. The story gets better once the problem is behind you.
