Expectation: everything is packed, settled, and working exactly as planned.

Reality: the late-night test fit has other ideas. A clean build is strongest when the visual decision also respects fitment, serviceability, and real-world use.

A little patience, a quick check to mock up the change before final finishing, and a willingness to laugh at the timing usually restore order. The story gets better once the problem is behind you.
