# Regenerative braking still needs judgment

Relatable truth: Regeneration can recover energy, but it does not replace attentive braking. Somehow this becomes obvious during the charging stop, usually five minutes after everyone said the plan was perfectly under control.

Yep, that’s a good reminder! Regeneration is great, but you still have to stay on top of your braking. Safety first!

Regeneration helps, but it’s still important to stay focused and brake normally when needed.
