Relatable truth: Adventure equipment lasts longer when the cleanup happens before it disappears into storage. Somehow this becomes obvious during the muddy return, usually five minutes after everyone said the plan was perfectly under control.

It’s always tempting to toss everything in the garage and deal with it later. A quick cleanup before storage saves so much hassle next time.
