This-or-that for the garage builders: do you write down the primary purpose, or collect a small set of reference images? Both camps have strong opinions, and both insist their way is faster. Which camp are you in?

I’m definitely in the reference images camp! Seeing the idea visually makes it easier to plan the details, spot potential issues, and keep the build on track. But I can definitely see why others prefer writing down the purpose first!
