Sometimes it’s not the big adventures, but the simple routines, familiar gear, and good people that make a trip special. And yes, always good to remember the truck maker’s load guidance before turning that tailgate into a seat! 
Quite a while ago I found a cool grill that hooked into my trailer hitch and was on a swing out arm when ready to deploy it. Called the Margaritaville grill!! May still be around. It had a great cover for the road. And kept all the grill mess out of my suv.
